The Arnolds team is back in South West Queensland, returning to one of our major ongoing surveying projects as works continue to progress across the region. Long-term projects like these are always rewarding to return to — not only to see how the site has evolved, but also to continue supporting our clients with consistent surveying services throughout each stage of delivery.
This latest trip saw plenty of early starts, with the team out on site before sunrise to make the most of the cooler morning conditions. There’s something special about those pre-dawn setups in the Queensland outback — headlights on, gear unloaded, and the day already underway while most people are still asleep.
Of course, no early morning fieldwork is complete without a cheeky Merlo coffee stop to get the crew moving before heading out across site. Fuel for both the team and the equipment!
Our static GPS crew was also strengthened this trip, with the Director’s wife officially joining the Arnolds static GPS team for the morning — proving once again that surveying really is a family affair at Arnolds.
One of the standout moments from the trip was seeing the fleet lined up and ready to roll before heading out for the day. From GPS work through to ongoing site support, it was a great reminder of the scale of coordination and teamwork involved in delivering reliable outcomes on large regional projects.
Projects of this size rely heavily on consistency, communication, and strong relationships developed over time. Returning to site regularly allows our team to maintain continuity, adapt to changing project requirements, and continue delivering accurate, dependable surveying support as construction progresses.
