Today is Storyfest Giving Day, and for one day only, every donation made between 8:00am and 8:00pm will be doubled by Storyfest’s generous match donors.

Just $10 can help an underprivileged child attend Storyfest and experience the magic of storytelling, whether on the Gold Coast or at one of the regional festivals in St George, Emerald or Longreach.

Storyfest festivals introduce children to authors, illustrators, musicians and poets who share not only their stories, but also their journeys. For many children, it’s the first time they’ve met someone who has written a book, illustrated a story or built a career through creativity.
The most powerful part? Children quickly realise these remarkable storytellers are everyday people just like them. They can ask questions, have conversations and see what’s possible for their own future. Suddenly, the thought becomes, “Why not me?”
