With the launch of the Gold Coast City Plan Version 12, we are reminded that the development process is ever-changing. With this latest amendment, we can expect “consequential changes to mapping layers”, such as Land Zone and Use Changes as stated by the City of Gold Coast. Across the Gold Coast, changes to the following Zones have been made; Low to High Industry, Rural Residential, and Low to Medium Density Residential lands.

In summary, Version 12 is mainly concerned with the tidying up of boundaries and implementing a few land use changes to select parcels of land. If you are curious have a look at the City of Gold Coast Planning and Development Alert – Version 12 City Plan.
