Dave began his surveying career in 2005, after deciding to make a meaningful career shift. Over the years, his interest in the technical side of the profession grew, and in 2020, he transitioned into Survey Drafting. At the time, he was working FIFO interstate, and drafting became a natural next step in combining his field understanding with his technical ability.
Dave joined Arnolds in September 2021, bringing with him a strong mix of field experience and drafting expertise that has become invaluable to our team and our clients.
As a draftsman, Dave works across a wide range of plans, including Identification Surveys, Lease Plans, Contour Surveys, and other Detail Survey Plans. He is highly skilled in both Survacad and Civil 3D, enabling him to transform raw survey data into accurate, reliable, and easy-to-interpret drawings that support smooth project delivery.
Outside of work, Dave is a keen sports fan — particularly NRL, Rugby Union, and Football — and loves following the action whenever he can.
